Yaklaşık 150 sene önce Fransa'da kurulan Vicat Group, günümüzde 7 ayrı ülkede (Fransa, A.B.D., Türkiye, Senegal, İsviçre, Mısır ve İtalya) faaliyet göstermektedir. Şirket, çimento imali, hazır beton üretimi ve yine bu sektörde paralel veya tamamlayıcı alanlarda aktivitelerde bulunmaktadır. Şirketin, senelik 1.5 Milyar Avro cirosu ve 6,000 kişinin üzerinde çalışanı bulunmaktadır.

Türkiye grubun çimento, beton ve maden çakılı üretimlerinin üçünde birden faaliyet gösterdiği üç ülkeden biridir. Vicat, Türkiye'ye 1991 yılında gelmiş ve faaliyetlerini 1994 yılında genişletmiştir.

The Vicat Group, founded in France over 150 years ago has today a presence in seven countries (France, United States, Turkey, Senegal, Switzerland, Egypt and Italy) The Company manufactures cement, produces ready-mixed concrete and aggregates, and conducts other activities that are parallel or complementary to its core operations. The company has a turnover of 1.5 Billion Euros and is an employer of over 6,000 people.

Turkey has two facilities producing Cement, concrete and mining aggregates, one of three countries in the group that are involved in all three areas. Vicat came to Turkey in 1991 and increased it’s presence in 1994.
